Webhook ​

Webhook subscriptions enable you to receive notifications regarding specific events in a brand account. Once you've subscribed to a webhook topic, your application can execute code immediately after particular events occur, rather than making periodic API calls to check their status.

For instance, you can use webhooks to trigger an action in your application when an order is created or updated. Utilizing webhooks reduces the number of API calls, enhancing the efficiency and promptness of your applications.

Receiving webhooks ​

When a webhook event that you've subscribed to occurs, PCA Open API sends a POST request to your server endpoint, providing event details.

It's crucial to respond with a 2xx status code to acknowledge the receipt of the notification. If any status other than HTTP 2xx is returned, we will attempt to deliver the webhook up to three times.
